We are squeezing ourselves. If there is a problem with people "the middle class" struggling is because WE LIVE ABOVE OUR MEANS. We buy on credit instead of working those 3 hours for pay first. We have to have things now . We don't even think to save for our future. Yes things are more affordable but we want everything and we want it supersized.
Yes this point has been made recently by Mark Levin as well about investment of time vs. cost.
It makes sense, and I have always used the same reasoning as I grew up. I started making $5/hr working on a golf course and worked very hard for my money. Was the $20 Music CD worth 4 hours work?
